When you’re looking for a gaming chair one of the key points you’re going to be looking for is comfort. You will be sitting in that chair for hours, and if you live stream for income it might be up to as much as eight to ten hours. You need to have a chair that will support your back, arms, and neck comfortably and safely. Besides, who wants to sit in an uncomfortable chair for longer than necessary? I know I don’t! And don’t you want to be able to put all your focus into your game instead getting distracted by how much your back is starting to hurt? Because trust me, after a while that can become extremely distracting. Below I will show you the ten best gaming chairs you can buy for any price range in 2017. We’ll keep this list in order from the most expensive to the least expensive.

1. Herman Miller Classic Aeron Task Chair

The Herman Miller Classic Aeron Task Chair is ergonomic, which is something you really want if you’re sitting in the same chair for a long period of time. It comes in eleven different color designs as well as multiple sizes. It features the patented high tech mesh fabric that will distribute pressure more evenly. Plus, due to the mesh, you’ll stay nice and cool. The Aeron does have posture support as well as adjustable padded arms. It is a bit heavy, weighing in at 56.5 pounds. This chair does come disassembled; however, you can pay to have it professionally assembled at a moderate fee. This is highly recommended, because many reviewers reported that it was very difficult to assemble the chair. While it is highly reviewed at a 4 out of 5 stars on Amazon, reviewers have had some troubles with this chair, such as many of the styles not having a seat tilt adjustment.

Pros
Ergonomic
Two sizing options
Made mostly out of recycled materials
12 year factory warranty covers everything

Cons
Doesn’t fit everyone the same
Can be hard to adjust
Assembly can be a hassle

2. Amia Chair by Steelcase

The Amia Chair by Steelcase has LiveLumbar technology inside the backrest of the chair. This means that the LiveLumbar zone moves with you for constant support for your lower back. It has four-way adjustable arms and an adjustable seat depth. This chair also has a flexible seat edge so your legs won’t be pinched. At 64.8 pounds this is a very heavy chair. It does come in 14 different color options, and for $50 more you can change the finish to platinum on the frame, arm retainer and outer back of the chair. A huge down side to this chair is that while you don’t have to worry about assembling it, you can’t return it. You will be stuck with it even if you don’t like it or find it uncomfortable, so you are taking a bit of a risk. However, at 4.9 out of 5 stars this is one of the most highly rated gaming chairs on Amazon, so many gamers must like it!

Pros
Ergonomic
Many different color options
Can further customize finish
Comes fully assembled

Cons
Cannot be returned if you don’t like it
Very heavy

3. DXRacer OH/RV001 Gaming Chair

The DXRacer OH/RV001 has an ergonomic design with two bonus cushions for the head rest and lumbar support. It has an extra high back to better support the neck and spine to go along with the ergonomic design of the chair. This DXRacer features soft arm rests that adjusts both in height and at the wrists for your comfort. It also has the conventional tilt mechanism of computer chairs; however, this chair will tilt back 135 degrees. The DXRacer has a heavy-duty base with a foot rest. Its biggest drawback is that while there are other color options, the seller lists them each separately which can lead to a wider variety in price and availability. This one in particular is black and violet, which may not fit your style. This chair is rated with 4.1 out of 5 stars on Amazon.

Pros
Ergonomic
Extremely adjustable arm rests
Easily adjustable
Foot rest
135 degree of tilt

Cons
Only 1 color option
Not suited for people taller than 6’

The Akracing AK-5015 Nitro Gaming Chair comes in six different color styles for you to choose from. It has a metal frame with an adjustable back. It adjusts up to 180 degrees, which is my favorite feature. This chair also has an adjustable height, arm rest, and tilt as well. For added comfort the Akracing AK-5015 Nitro has included lumbar and neck pillows. It’s not too heavy, coming in at 50 pounds. It can support up to 396 pounds of weight! It has also got a rather good rating of 4.2 out of 5 stars on Amazon, although many gamers complained that the seat was too firm so be prepared to possibly have to purchase a cushion! This chair is my favorite due to the adjustability and tilt.

Pros
Ergonomic
6 color options
Fully adjustable
180 degrees of tilt

Cons
Very firm seat
May be uncomfortable depending on weight
After 1 year, some users report excessive wear

This chair has a decent rating of 3.5 out of 5 stars, with many reviewers warning about heavy usage. If you’re a hardcore gamer that plays multiple hours of the day this might not be the best chair for you; however, if you’re more casual, many gamers said this gaming chair is very comfortable!

This gaming chair also offers a head rest and lumbar cushion, as well as built in reclining mechanism—up to 150 degrees—that locks at multiple different angles. This Giantex gaming chair has slightly adjustable arm rests, as well as the adjustable seat height. The material of this gaming chair is fade resistant and easy to clean. This will likely not be a good fit for people who are very tall, because as one review mentioned, it started to get a bit cramped. The Giantex Executive Racing Style Gaming Chair has 3.9 out of 5 stars on Amazon, and is a rather good budget gaming chair.

Keep in mind, though, that this does have a moderate fee involved. This gaming chair has a nice heavy duty base, and is, like many on our list, ergonomically designed for maximum comfort. The chair is the lightest weight chair on this list at 33 pounds. While the height of this chair is adjustable, the arm rests, unfortunately, are not. While tilting back, the whole chair (arm rest, back, and bottom of the chair) move together. This gaming chair is highly rated on Amazon at 4.2 out 5 stars.

8. Belleze Ergonomic Leather Executive Computer Chair

The Belleze Ergonomic Leather Executive Computer Chair comes in a few different color and style options that vary in price. This chair also comes with the professional assembly for a moderate fee. It has an adjustable height, although the arm rests do not adjust. This chair, like the name suggests, is ergonomic, and it also has lumbar support. It does have a tilt and lock control mechanism. This chair is only 31 pounds. A big negative that keeps popping up in the reviews around fifty percent of the time is that it’s cheaply made. This seems to be hit and miss, but it’s something to keep in mind. While it does have quite a few negatives, this chair is still rated 4 out of 5 stars on Amazon.

It has an adjustable height, but static arm rests. This chair also includes the moderate fee professional assembly, although many reviewers said that it was easy to put together themselves. It has a mesh back, which is great for keeping cool. Some reviewers stated that it wasn’t sturdy enough, and that it could be uncomfortable if you are using it for long periods of time. The Aleko ALMC1888BL is rated at 3.8 out of 5 stars on Amazon; however, and really seems to be a you love it or you hate it type of chair.

10. MidBack Black Mesh Swivel Task Chair

The MidBack Mesh Swivel Task Chair is the least expensive chair on our list. It also includes professional assembly like the more expensive chairs, however, many reviewers said that it was easy to assemble yourself. The seat height is adjustable, although, again, the arm rests are static. However, you can easily choose not to install them on this chair. This is another computer chair on this list that has a mesh back, which again is awesome for staying cool no matter the season. The MidBack Mesh Swivel Task Chair has a nice padded seat and a heavy-duty base. Keep in mind, it does not lean back. This is a deal breaker for me, but I know it isn’t for other gamers.
