What separates a good gaming laptop from a great one? After all, there are plenty of gaming laptops on the market, but only a select few of them allow you to play the latest AAA games on maximum video settings while being able to maintain a smooth framerate at the same time. The biggest issue with most gaming laptops is that they are constrained by various limitations- space, power, and heat. You can’t cram too much power into such a tiny space, not without generating massive amounts of heat.
And even if you somehow manage to get rid of the heating problems, you end up with a machine that sucks the battery dry within an hour while running graphically intensive games. So, the obvious answer would be to sacrifice a little bit of portability and battery life in order to gain more performance. Which is true for most high-end gaming laptops on the market- you essentially trade a bit of portability and battery life (as compared to a normal laptop) in order to gain that extra performance which a standard notebook cannot even dream of achieving.
This article is all about laptops which don’t compromise on gaming performance, and we made sure to include some of the best portable gaming machines of 2017 on the list. It is not meant for the budget- conscious buyers, so don’t expect to see anything that costs under 1000 dollars on this list. We decided to go big and show you just how awesome your gaming experience can get if you are ready to put down some extra money in order to indulge in your favorite hobby.
Yes, this list only contains the most powerful, advanced, and stylish gaming laptops on the market in 2017. The laptops we have reviewed are outrageously priced, but they also perform, unlike anything you have ever seen. If you dreamt about owning a gaming laptop that can compete with a high-end gaming desktop in terms of raw power and gaming performance, we have exactly what you need- not only will some of these gaming laptops match a top of the line gaming desktop in terms of performance, but some of these laptops are faster than 90% of gaming desktops you will encounter. So, without further ado, let’s get straight to the reviews-
Loaded with everything that you need to game at the best graphics settings, the CUK MSI GE62VR Apache Pro is a VR-ready gaming laptop that blurs the line between a high-end gaming desktop and a portable, lightweight laptop that you can carry around with you. It is equipped with best-in-class graphics and processor, while also carrying an ample amount of storage for all your games, high-resolution photos, songs, and movies. The fully customizable RGB keyboard on this laptop is an advantage that most of its competitors don’t have, and the built-in audio system is amazingly good.
Combining the power of a 7th generation Core i7 quad-core processor with one of NVIDIAs best graphics cards, the CUK MSI GE62VR Apache Pro is a laptop that is loaded with plenty of raw horsepower to deliver an uncompromising gaming experience. The GTX 1060 6GB graphics card can deliver a smooth 60+ fps experience at high graphics settings on 1080p resolution in almost any modern AAA game, while the Core i7 7700HQ is equipped with a high clock speed and 8 threads of processing power for seamless multitasking and smooth gameplay.
There is 16 GB of high speed 2400 MHz DDR4 Ram onboard, meaning that you will never run out of memory even while playing graphics intensive open world games such as Assassins Creed, GTA, PUBG, or Fallout. The extra RAM also means that you can use this laptop for casual photo and video editing, kind of like a portable workstation PC. There is a 128 GB SSD and a 1TB HDD onboard for mass storage, the SSD ensures that your laptop boots up within 10 seconds, while the 1 TB of storage space takes care of movies, games, photos, etc.
The 15.6” 60 Hz TN panel on this laptop is nothing extraordinary, but we do not expect a higher resolution or IPS panel at this price point since it is definitely on the lower spectrum of “high-end” gaming laptops. The screen is still better than most TN panels, and features really nice color saturation along with a good response time for fast paced shooting games which demand quick reflexes. Equipped with the Killer 1535 WIFI adapter, this laptop will make sure that you are the first one to react in online multiplayer games whenever you play on a WIFI network. Comes with a 3-year warranty from CUK, and Windows 10 Home 64-bit preloaded.
Fully customizable RGB gaming keyboard

Low battery life while gaming
It costs slightly more than the CUK MSI GE62VR Apache Pro, and also boasts the exact same hardware specifications in terms of processor and graphics card model, etc. But, the Predator 15 is ranked slightly higher for a reason- its 15.6” 1080p G-SYNC display delivers a smoother gameplay experience while removing the input lag caused by traditional sync systems such as V-SYNC.
This might be one of the meanest looking 15.6” gaming laptops in the market, and delivers plenty of bang for the buck- something we don’t expect to see in a premium gaming laptop such as this one. It delivers in terms of performance as well as user experience, thanks to a powerful GTX 1060 + Core i7 7700HQ combo and a 1080p G-SYNC display which completely eliminates screen tearing and input lag to deliver a buttery smooth gaming experience at all settings.
Just like the MSI GE62VR Apache Pro, this laptop is equipped with 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and a 128 GB SSD + 1TB HDD. The SSD ensure lightning fast booting and super low game loading times, while the massive HDD allows you to carry more data on the laptop without having to spend extra money on flash drives or other external storage devices. The 16 GB of RAM is plenty for both gaming and light productivity, while the Core i7 7700HQ quad core CPU delivers across all situations with its 3.8 GHz turbo boost clock speed and 8 threads of processing prowess.
While the Acer Predator doesn’t have a fully RGB gaming keyboard like the MSI, its red backlit gaming keyboard fits in perfectly with the sporty black and red color theme of the laptop body. It features a sleek design with intelligently positioned air vents for efficient cooling, and the lid is designed so that the laptop looks like a Lamborghini sports car when closed. The trackpad has a red LED outline and is large as well as extremely accurate. The 15.6” 1080p IPS display is one of the best 1080p screens we have seen on any gaming laptop, it delivers crisp colors along with perfect contrast for lifelike pictures.

Yes, it may look like an out-of-place suitcase with a screen strapped onto the top half, but this is actually a very powerful gaming laptop that offers plenty of value for a rather reasonable price. Think about it- how many gaming laptop manufacturers offer a GTX 1070 graphics card in their machines for under 1700 dollars? That’s right, very few. And as if that wasn’t enough, you also get a G-SYNC display for ultra-smooth gameplay at all framerates.
The Eluktronics P650HS-G was designed with only one thing in mind- performance. That is why they are giving a GTX 1070 8GB graphics card and Core i7 7700HQ quad core 7th generation Intel processor at this price point. No, it is not a cheap laptop if you look at the price. But when you compare the price of this laptop with that of competition models which offer the same specs, you will realize how much value you are being offered here.
One thing we would like to point out, in particular, is the 15.6” full HD G-SYNC display. A G-SYNC display delivers a much smoother gaming experience by eliminating screen tearing and input lag, it is exclusive to NVIDIA powered machines only such as this one. The display contains a special control module which is directly connected to the output from the GTX 1070 graphics card, so it refreshes only when a new frame is pushed out by the card. This means that no matter how low or high your fps, you will barely notice any screen tearing or input lag while playing. Everything feels smoother, and this ensures that you have a competitive edge in online multiplayer games.
The keyboard features a silver outline, and is RGB backlit. The display uses an IPS panel for superior color reproduction and better contrast. There is plenty of onboard storage in the form of a 256 GB SSD and a 1 TB 7200 rpm HDD. Windows 10 comes preloaded, and the laptops built-in audio is very powerful because of the SoundBlaster X-FI MB5 audio adapter that is attached within. Features Gigabit LAN, Intel Wireless AC 2 x 2, and Bluetooth 4.2 for seamless wireless connectivity.

ASUS ROG gaming laptops are generally regarded as the best of the best, especially in the high-end market where competition comes down to build quality, overall feature set, etc. ASUS prides itself in manufacturing gaming laptops that offer both extremely powerful hardware and premium features in the form of top-notch displays, brilliantly designed cooling systems, tactile and responsive keyboards, etc. The ROG STRIX GL502VS-DS71 is no exception to this tradition and is loaded with a 120 Hz G-SYNC display that is simply one of the best gaming laptop displays we have seen under 2000 dollars, no question about it.
The standout feature of this laptop has to be its 120Hz G-SYNC display panel with outstanding color reproduction and sharp contrast, but in order to drive such a high refresh rate display, you need some serious processing power. And that processing power comes in the form of a NVIDIA GTX 1070 8GB graphics card, paired with an Intel Core i7 7700HQ processor which features 4 cores and 8 threads for superb gaming as well as multitasking performance.
Dual 8 GB DDR4 RAM sticks are installed within the laptop, so that you can game without restrictions and also run multiple background programs at the same time. The 128 GB M.2 SATA SSD ensures lag-free computing and super-fast booting times, while the 1 TB HDD takes care of all your important documents, game folders, movies, and photos.
The frame of the laptop is made from high-quality aluminum, and features a brushed finish for that premium feel and sleek look which everyone is going to love. The keyboard feels tactile and responsive, and features specially positioned groups of gaming keys (WASD, arrow keys, etc.), it is also RED LED backlit. Cooling is handled by dual independent fans that are intelligently controlled by temperature sensors on the CPU and GPU, resulting in powerful yet high silent cooling performance at all times.

MSI is renowned for their flashy looking gaming laptops which are loaded with a plethora of gamer specific features, and the GT62VR Dominator just took that concept to a whole another level. It looks like a Transformer robot in disguise, and is loaded with some really powerful hardware beneath the hood. Not just that, it also features the best lighting and keyboard we have seen on any laptop at this price range.
If you like your gaming hardware to both perform and look awesome, then the MSI GT62VR Dominator Pro-238 might be just the laptop for you. It features a 15.6” 1080P IPS display with G-SYNC. There is a GTX 1070 8GB graphics card lying underneath the belly of this beast, and it is mated to an equally powerful CPU, the Intel Core i7 700HQ. With 4 cores and 8 threads of processing power, the 7700HQ is the perfect mobile gaming processor on the market right now- it offers a blend of efficiency and performance inside a small package.
There is 16 GB of DDR4 RAM onboard which helps with both hardcore gaming as well as productivity, and the SteelSeries full color customizable RGB backlit gaming keyboard further enhances your experience by offering a tactile and responsive input system which is comparable to mechanical gaming keyboards. There are programmable macro keys, per-key RGB lighting, and game-specific profiles that you can save depending on your preferences and playstyle. Customization doesn’t get any sweeter than this.
It is not just the keyboard that is beautifully designed, the entire laptop seems like it was carved by hand from a solid block of dark-colored metal. The black brushed aluminum finish goes along nicely with the subtle curved edges and sports car style exhausts. There is a red MSI badge on the top cover, along with two red LED streaks that run across the top lid on either side of the logo. Nahimic 2 surround sound and Killer DoubleShot pro networking seal the deal.

Despite costing more than the GT62VR Dominator Pro-238, the GS63VR Stealth Pro is actually equipped with a slightly weaker graphics card. The reason for this is the 4k IPS display- this laptop is optimized for high resolution gaming and movie viewing, so in order to keep prices under check MSI had to make some compromises with the graphics card, using a GTX 1060 instead of a 1070.
If you want to catch onto the 4k gaming trend, now is a great time- with the MSI GS63VR Stealth Pro, you can experience 4k gaming and movies on the go. This laptop is one of the slimmest and lightest gaming machines in existence right now, at just 0.69 inches thick. It weighs just 4 pounds, meaning that it is lighter than most gaming laptops out there. The extremely high-resolution display significantly improves your video and movie watching experience, while the quad Core i7 7700HQ processor ensures that the laptop has no trouble multitasking through intense workloads.
The GTX 1060 6GB graphics card in this laptop isn’t exactly the best 4k gaming card on the market, but you can still play most games on medium graphics settings at 4k resolution and 60+ fps. Remember- using 4k resolution means that you can get away with medium texture quality, and you automatically get a higher quality picture just because of the immensely high resolution. On top of that, the 15.6” display of this laptop uses an IPS panel for superior color quality and breathtakingly realistic visuals. Viewing angles are very good, and there is a full-color RGB backlit SteelSeries gaming keyboard as well.
Onboard storage is delivered by a 512 GB PCIe SSD and a 2TB 5400 rpm HDD. We would like to emphasize that the 512 GB PCIe SSD on this laptop is not only larger in terms of capacity when compared to the 128/ 256 GB SSDs found on most sub 2000-dollar laptops, but it is also much faster than a SATA based SSD. The 2 TB of Hard Disk space ensures that you will never have to carry an external hard drive around with you all the time. The laptop uses the Killer Networking E2400 adapter and also features Thunderbolt 3 for lightning fast data transfers.

Scared of spending too much on a gaming laptop thinking that you could instead spend that money on a gaming desktop which would be much more powerful? Well- take a look at the Acer Predator 17 gaming laptop. It is loaded with all the goodies you could hope for, including a GTX 1070 graphics card and Core i7 7700HQ processor. But the real reason we recommend this laptop is because of its amazing display and solid build quality which is sure to make the owner proud.
There isn’t much to talk about in terms of specifications alone- it packs a Core i7 7700HQ and a GTX 1070 8GB graphics card. Pretty standard affair for a laptop at this price point. But what is really interesting about this particular model is its breathtakingly awesome display- it is not a true 4k display, but is designed to emulate 4k resolution so you won’t be able to tell the difference between a real 4k display and this one at normal viewing distance (2-3 feet). It is also equipped with one of the most customizable gaming keyboards out there, RGB backlit and tactile feedback.
To take care of all your gaming and productivity needs, Acer threw in a whopping 32 GB of DDR4 RAM- that is plenty for almost any task that you could possibly think of doing on a personal computer. But in case that isn’t enough RAM for you, you can always add in another 32 GB to get a grand total of 64 GB RAM. There is a 256 GB PCIe SSD (faster than SATA SSDs), and a 2 TB HDD for mass storage.
The 17.3” display utilizes an IPS panel, and features G-SYNC enabled for smooth gameplay at all framerates. Windows 10 Home Premium comes preinstalled, and we thank Acer for not installing any unnecessary bloatware (cough, MSI, cough). The sleek design and bold sportscar themed exhausts are really cool, and we must admit- the black and red color theme is amazing!

Equipped with one of the most awesome gaming laptop displays of all time, the MSI GT73VR TITAN PRO-1005 is a dominant contender in the upper echelons of the gaming laptop market. It is designed to be fast, beautiful, feature-packed, and is built like a tank. There are very few laptops which offer such a vast range of features and amazing performance, all packed into one beautifully designed machine.
The GT73VR TITAN PRO-1005 is a behemoth- it weighs 8.6 pounds and features a 17.3” display. Not the kind of laptop that you would want to carry around the office or college campus, but when it comes to delivering desktop-grade performance, there are few challengers which can stand in front of this excellently designed portable gaming machine.
It is equipped with the 2nd fastest gaming graphics card in the world- the NVIDIA GTX 1080 8GB GDDR5X. This is a monster of a graphics card that can easily run any game in existence at 100+ fps on 1080p and maximum graphics. But the real fun starts at 1440p- hook up an external 1440p monitor to this laptop and enjoy buttery smooth gaming at the highest possible framerates thanks to the power of the mighty GTX 1080 and a Core i7 7700HQ quad core 7th generation Intel processor.
The laptop comes with a pretty impressive display, and it honestly amazes us how accurate the colors look on this 120 Hz panel. Not only does it refresh twice as fast as a standard computer display, but the color accuracy and contrast is simply too good. You can watch movies, play games, edit photos, and do pretty much anything with a display of this quality. Response time is just 5ms, perfect for playing twitch reaction based shooter games such as CS GO, Call of Duty, Quake, etc. A color gamut accuracy of 94% NTSC ensures that the display is of an extremely high quality, and can be used for both gaming as well as productivity.
There is 16 GB of DDR4 RAM onboard, along with dual 256 GB m.2 SATA SSDs in RAID configuration for enhanced bandwidth. There is also a 5400 rpm 1TB HDD for storing larger files or movie/ song/ video collections. The SteelSeries RGB gaming keyboard is a pleasure to use, while the Nahimic 2.0 surround sound system with quad speakers and dual subwoofers generates some of the best audio you will ever hear from a laptop.

Gigabyte has come up with one of the best gaming laptops of our generation, the AORUS X5 MD-KL4K3M. It defies all conventions, and exceeds expectations across all categories- performance, size, and efficiency. Despite being just 1 inch thick, the laptop is loaded with a GTX 1080 8GB GDDR5X graphics chip and features a Core i7 7820HK CPU.
The first thing that comes to mind when you look at this gaming laptop is “wow, it’s so sleek”. Unlike the gaming laptops that we all remember, this is not a heavy and bulky machine with giant air vents all over the body to deal with the immense amount of heat that results from cramming such high-power components into a tiny space. Instead, the Gigabyte AORUS X5 MD-KL4K3M is just 0.9” thick. What is even more surprising is the fact that it contains more processing power than most high-end gaming desktops despite being so slim and lightweight.
Packing a Core i7 7820HK CPU and GTX 1080 8GB graphics, this laptop is definitely one of the fastest portable gaming PCs in existence. The Core i7 7820HK is a 4 core, 8-thread part just like the i7 7700HQ which is found on most premium gaming laptops, but the former is designed for heavier workloads. It has slightly more cache (8MB vs 6MB), and comes with a slightly higher base and boost clock (2.9/ 3.9 GHz compared to 2.8/ 3.8 GHz of the 7700HQ). Other than that, the X7 DT v7-KL3K3D also boasts a 15” UHD (3K) display. It is X-Rite Pantone certified, meaning that it effectively displays images at near-4k level clarity from a normal viewing distance.
There are plenty of other features geared specifically towards gamers such as- single click automatic overclocking, fully customizable per-key RGB keyboard, Thunderbolt 3 ports, 802.11 AC WIFI, etc. The display features NVIDIA G-SYNC for a smooth, tear-free gaming experience. With 6 heat pipes and 4 exhaust vents, the laptop has no issues staying silent and cool under load, thanks to dual intelligently controlled cooling fans.
Features a GTX 1080 and Core i7 7820HK inside a 0.9” thick metal chassis
4 vents, 2 fans, and 6 heat pipes keep the laptop cool and silent at all times
Fully customizable RGB keyboard
32 GB of DDR4 RAM and 256 GB PCIe NVME SSD with 1 TB HDD
15” UHD X-Rite Pantone certified display featuring NVIDIA G-SYNC
The display has large bezels and the laptop is quite wide for a 15” model
It could use a better trackpad
You can think of it as a desktop inside the body of a laptop or a laptop that is trying to be a desktop. Either way, you won’t be wrong- this thing is massive, and is built like a miniature tank. The MSI GT83VR is one of the most outrageously priced gaming laptops as well, so make sure you don’t put yourself under debt trying to buy one of these. But if you can afford this beast, then you will be one of the few privileged gamers to own this one of a kind gaming machine which puts even custom built high-end gaming desktops to shame.
This laptop is not for ordinary gamers- at least not for gamers who can’t afford to pay almost 5000 dollars for a laptop. It is expensive, but offers performance the likes of which no ordinary gaming laptop can even come close to. We are talking dual GTX 1080 graphics cards in SLI configuration, fully unlocked and overclockable, along with a Core i7 7920HQ quad core, 8-thread CPU. This is probably the only laptop CPU from Intel capable of going above the 4 GHz mark on turbo mode. But if you wish, you can push it even further with the overclocking functionality built right into this laptop.
What makes this laptop truly unique is the fact that you can actually upgrade the graphics cards. They are full desktop dies from NVIDIA, not cut-down versions for mobile PCs. MSI has installed custom designed PCBs in this laptop, and each graphics card can be removed just like you would remove a RAM stick or storage drive. The cards use MXM 3.0b connectors, and MSI offers upgrade kits on their website for people who own older TITAN SLI models. When the 11-series cards are launched by NVIDIA, you can be sure that MSI will release upgrade kits which will allow you to buy something like GTX 1180s or even GTX 1180tis and install them in your GT83VR TITAN SLI-252 laptop! Just like upgrading a desktop, except this is a laptop.
The massive 18.3” screen offers amazing colors and a 180° viewing angle, but you are limited to 1080p 60 Hz. The reason for this is the fact that no panel manufacturer makes 120 Hz or 144 Hz 18.3” displays for laptops, so MSI would have to get something like that custom made through a third party, which would make the laptop even more expensive than it already is. But you can easily hook up 2 or even 3 1440p monitors to this beast and enjoy a surround screen gaming experience, the dual GTX 1080s are more than capable of handling all those pixels. The laptop uses an actual full-sized mechanical keyboard from SteelSeries, not some trimmed down membrane version. The keyboard is outfitted with authentic Cherry MX Silver switches, and features RGB backlighting.
Dual GTX 1080 graphics cards in SLI configuration and Core i7 7920HQ processor
32 GB of 2400 MHz DDR4 RAM
500 GB Samsung 960 Evo SSD and a 1 TB 7200 rpm HDD
Actual mechanical keyboard by SteelSeries which uses Cherry MX Silver switches and features RGB backlighting
Upgradeable just like a desktop
Weighs 11.6 pounds (you can use it for exercise in your spare time if you want)
Uses two separate power bricks (700-watt power draw with both power bricks combined)
Do you want the most powerful gaming laptop in the world? Then the ASUS ROG GX800VH is exactly what you are looking for. Just make sure you are ready to pay the 6000+ dollars necessary to own this marvelous piece of personal computer technology. It is big, it is powerful, and it looks absolutely gorgeous from all angles. The display for this behemoth has been custom-designed by ASUS and is a brilliant example of what modern engineering is capable of.
Dual GTXS 1080s in SLI, along with a Core i7 7820HK processor from Intel that features 4 cores and 8 threads. Sounds pretty similar to the MSI GT83VR TITAN SLI-252 laptop that we reviewed earlier, but this ASUS ROG machine comes with a slight twist of its own. While the MSI laptop is upgradeable, this one is liquid cooled. You are guaranteed to make the most out of the hardware you have, thanks to the ROG HYDRO OVERCLOCKING DOCK that comes with this laptop. The hydro cooling system pumps and circulates liquid coolant around the laptops dual graphics card setup and processor to maximize heat dissipation while simultaneously reducing noise output since the fans run slower.
Liquid cooling is proven to be more efficient than air cooling, and the laptop performs better since it can overclock higher when the CPU and GPUs are cool. Higher overclocks directly result in better performance, and this is shown in games- the ASUS ROG GX800VH is significantly faster than any other gaming laptop on the market, even ones that use the exact same graphics card and processor. The reason is simple- it overclocks much better and runs cooler, so higher framerates are sustained more easily under high load situations. The unique 660-watt power brick is cleverly designed, it provides all the power for this laptop and is a significant advantage over the dual power brick design that MSI uses for their GT83VR TITAN SLI-252.
But the real dealmaker over here is the custom designed 18.4” 3840 x 2160 true 4K G-SYNC display (IPS panel, 178° viewing angle). As we mentioned before, MSI decided to go with a 1080p 60 Hz panel since nobody on the market makes a 120 Hz 18.3” panel for laptops. ASUS however, chose to make a custom 4k panel for their laptop, sacrificing a higher refresh rate for much better visual clarity. This 4k display is part of the reason why this laptop costs more than the MSI GT83VR TITAN SLI-252.
The colors are amazing, and the G-SYNC ensures a tear-free, low lag experience. Another major attraction of this keyboard is the Mech TAG mechanical switch chiclet keyboard- while it is not a true mechanical switch based keyboard, the experience is as close as you can get to the real deal on a laptop that isn’t a MSI TITAN SLI. This RGB backlit keyboard on the ROG GX800VH is great, but if you want a true mechanical experience, nothing trumps the MSI GT83VR TITAN SLI-252 custom SteelSeries keyboard.
Dual GTX 1080 in SLI along with a Core i7 7820HK, all water-cooled by a custom designed water-cooling dock
32 GB of overclocked 2800 MHz DDR4 RAM, upgradeable to 64 GB
Mech TAG mechanical switch keyboard with RGB backlighting, customizable key binds, macro keys, etc.
ESS SABRE headphone DAC and amplifier for superior audio quality
Comes with an exclusive bundled backpack
Sonic Studio II software and XSplit broadcaster bundled along with the laptop
18.3” custom designed 4K (3840 x 2160) IPS display with G-SYNC
Costs more than a used car
May require a two-man crew to move around (not really, but it does weigh like 12 pounds, excluding the hydrocooling dock)
While it is true that any laptop equipped with a super high-end graphics chip and processor is going to beat out its competition by a fair margin in terms of performance, you normally don’t make a purchase decision based on performance metrics alone. There is more to a laptop than just the CPU and GPU- you need to think of each laptop as a complete user experience package.
Unlike a desktop, laptops contain everything in one place- the keyboard, the display, the speakers, the lighting, etc. You obviously can’t focus only on what’s inside, or else you will be stuck with a purchase that you don’t enjoy using for anything outside of games. The display of a laptop is one of the most underappreciated parts, and you need to understand that the graphics card doesn’t show you images, the display does. Having a GTX 1080 graphics card means nothing if you are stuck with a 60 Hz, 1080p display. Again, IPS displays are better for most games because they offer superior colors and brightness along with far better viewing angles.
The keyboard is an essential part of your gaming experience, and having a tactile, responsive, customizable gaming keyboard is going to ensure that you are able to play for longer periods of time without straining your hands or feeling uncomfortable. We want you to check every aspect of a gaming laptop before you go ahead and purchase it, especially when you are trying to decide between two models that have otherwise similar hardware specifications. Remember- there is no single “best” gaming laptop, only the one that is best for your specific needs.
